In-Person Art Therapy Group in Olympia 4/14/26 - 5/26/26
I am excited to announce that I will be having my first in-person art therapy group starting 4/14/26!
This will be a 7-week Art Therapy Group for Adults who are struggling in these challenging times. We will process, create, and reflect on difficult topics in a way that promotes creative expression, community, hope, and collective healing. This group will provide a space for expression of anxiety, frustration, anger, and grief in a safe container.
Group will be Tuesday evenings from 5:45pm - 7:15pm on the following dates:
4/14/26 • 4/21/26 • 4/28/26 • 5/05/26 • 5/12/25 • 5/19/26 • 5/26/26
Over the 7 weeks, we will utilize different creative materials, such as collage, drawing, found objects, and more!
If you are considering this group, please keep in mind that you will be expected to attend at least 5 of the 7 meetings. Of course—life happens!—but this group will be most beneficial if you can show up every week. As a group, we will be co-creating a healing community where we can learn from one another, create together, and grow.
Group will be $20 per session, or $140 for the 7 weeks if you would like to pay up-front.
While I have tried to keep the cost per session low to make therapy more accessible, please reach out if you are in need of a sliding scale fee.

What is art therapy?
What is art therapy?
Art therapy is a type of mental health treatment that uses various forms of creative expression to promote healing. Instead of relying on words alone, art therapy allows clients to explore alternative means of expression and self-discovery. Artmaking can be used to tap into hard-to-pin-down feelings, release energy, explore personal narratives, practice new skills, and beyond! Art therapy can be useful to people of all ages and backgrounds. No art experience needed!
In art therapy, the possible artistic mediums are endless—painting, collage, drawing, scribbling, creative writing, music, dance, and more! One of the most important rules in art therapy is that there is no wrong way to make art! Regardless of the result, the process of making art has significant therapeutic benefits. Improved emotional regulation, self-awareness, and cognitive function are some of the possible benefits of art therapy. An art therapist can also help you engage in reflection, gaining valuable insights into your emotions, past experiences, relationships, and other aspects of your mental health.
